The aura was one of nostalgia and quiet reflection involving all of my senses...the view of the quiet wharf, the smell of the salty air, the fresh taste of fish from the day's catch, the sounds of the sea and gulls, imagining the tolling of the Long Point lighthouse, feeling the warmth of the sun and the cool ocean breeze on my face. Beautifully grounded. A perfect time and place for a painting.
